Meet the Networks Transforming Europe's Farming Systems
This film shows the benefits of bringing farmers, researchers and communities together to understand and enable food systems to develop that are both ecologically sustainable and socially just. From strip cropping in the Netherlands to traditional practices in Spain, and sustainable dairy systems in France, our 11 Innovation Hubs test real solutions on the ground. We look at increasing biodiversity, reducing chemical inputs, improving soil health and strengthening rural livelihoods.

Roots of Resilience: How Agroecology boosts Biodiversity
Agroecology is a way of producing food that uses biodiversity to enhance production in a natural way. In fact, agroecology and biodiversity go hand in hand. Meet some of the farmers and researchers across Europe who are changing the way they farm to better support biodiversity, mitigate against climate change and provide a food and farming system that supports people and the planet.

Understanding the Barriers and Levers to Agroecology
We explain why research alongside farm practice is important to create ‘actionable knowledge’ that enables the upscaling of agroecology. The first part of the project’s research explores barriers and levers experienced within agroecologically-based enterprises. This helps each of the projects celebrate their successes and focus on where issues lie, so that they can understand and tackle them strategically.
